Established in 1976, the Company’s primary mission was to increase the local production of fruits and vegetables to ensure Kuwait’s food security.

 

In 2014, the state owned Agricultural Foods Products Company (AFPC) was purchased by SUMA Fruits and the farming division was spun into a separate company, AFPC Farms.

 

Under the new leadership, the Farms were modernized with the latest agricultural technology and equipment to optimize the production quantity and quality. The Company employs a large team of experienced agricultural engineers that ensue the best quality standards are implemented.

 

The Company has the largest number of greenhouses in Kuwait and uses the latest hydroponic technology allowing it yearlong to increase production and withstand Kuwait’s high temperatures.
